Marsa Matrouh

Dubbed the Mediterranean’s clearest bay, Marsa Matrouh is a beautiful and tranquil spot that should not be missed. The city is famous for its romantic beaches Agiba and Gharam, a wide array of underwater mountains and marine life, as well as its cool breeze all year long.

The town has long been a historic site, it is where the Battle of El-Alamein took place. Remnants of Erwin Rommel’s cave have been turned into the Rommel Museum, which is open to visitors to this day.
