Overview
This 8-day trip through Egypt takes you from Giza Pyramids and Sphinx to a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Along the way, you’ll explore the main highlights of upper Egypt including Philae Temple in Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut Temple.

Itinerary
Day 1
Cairo
- Arrival at Cairo International Airport, meeting and assistance by our qualified representative. - Transfer by deluxe Coach to your hotel for check-in. - Overnight at hotel.
Day 2
Cairo/Sleeper Train/Aswan
- Breakfast at hotel and check out. - Proceed to a half day visit of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. - Transfer after the tour to the train station to board the sleeper train to Aswan. - Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3
Cairo/Aswan/Nile Cruise
- Arrival to Aswan, meeting by our representatives and transfer to your Nile Cruise. - Arrival at the Nile cruise and embarkation. - After a short rest, proceed to the visits of the Temple of Philae. - Return the ship and lunch on board. - Evening free at leisure or Optional Tour to the Sound & Light show at the Philae Temple or City tour by night. - Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4
Nile Cruise
- Breakfast on board. - Sail to Kom Ombo and visit Kom Ombo Temples upon arrival. - Lunch on board. - Sail to Edfu and visit Edfu Temple. - Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5
Nile Cruise
- Breakfast on board. - Sail to Luxor. - Lunch on board. - Arrival Luxor, visit of Karnak Temple. - Evening free at leisure or Optional Tour of the Sound & Light at Karnak Temple or visit the Souk by night. - Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6
Luxor/Sleeper Train/Cairo
- Breakfast on board and disembarkation. - Optional Tour; Hot-air balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. - Proceed to the visit of the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. - In the evening, transfer to Luxor train station to board the sleeper train to Cairo. - Dinner and overnight onboard.
Day 7
Cairo
- Arrival Cairo, meeting by our representatives and transfer your hotel. - Arrival at hotel and check-in. - Rest of the day free at leisure. - In the evening, Optional tour; Dinner on board of a floating sailing restaurant including Oriental show. - Overnight at hotel.
Day 8
Cairo
- Check-out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
